Well, the good and bad thing about Obitsu's is their spares service compared to volks for instance.

As far as I could tell every internal part was available as spares, except for for the 65 that they only sell bodies at the moment, but the 60 series parts might work in these places.

The bad thing is, you cant put the double hinges on a balljointed body, since the internal and external parts for the arms and legs are different.

But just in case you end up with the bad service options, obitsu spares for the 60cm body can be found atleast from Parabox, and HLJ I think, without having to resort to middlemen.

Hopefully. FJ asked if I want to make a claim as the package was insured before contacting Obitsu. We'll see if the EMS insurance works.

It really is a pity that the joints aren't double hinged :( He can't touch his face like all my DDs can. The possibility to use 60cm replacement parts sounds good. Even better if there are double hinged joints :D

It's frustrating to have a broken body that I can't even tinker with yet as I have to wait if I get refund, replacement or just bad service

I hope you can get this sorted.

Its a bit unfortunate the 65 does not have the option for the double hinged elbows and kneas that seem a lot more sturdy than the balljoint version of their inner frame.

Id imagine the 60 series balljoint parts to be compatible with the 65, since the legs seem identical in lenght, and the elbow joint seems like a stand alone piece with no lenght specific rods attached.

Miki is absolutely darling ^_^ I want her to cosplay/be after timeskip Nami from One Piece one day.

I don't have use for some of the new eyes as I'm not that fond of (example yellow) so I'm selling those in DDforum so I can bid on some eyes from hatomugigenmaisougenpichaumai / cototono

Comment on How to mod DDII bust for DDdy by Maarit

I haven't tried really. I took the ribcage thingy under the bust of from DD2 body and the DD2 lower torso seemed really short under the bust (well at least compared to DD3 that extends flaps).

1cm might be actually possible now that I had another peep inside the body. Put as I don't have means to get a cheap bust part to try with and there is a change that even if you could trim 1cm of it would leave a gap between the lower torso and bust (different circumfences) I don't dare to try even I do love tinkering XD

But if you try shortening DD bust, I'd love to hear what's the results. The are some outfits that would look great if the seamline would go under the bust and not in the waist like now

Oh too bad, so you've tried already? I haven't decided yet but I just made a few measurements and based on the numbers, I was hoping that it'd be safe to trim the bust as long as you we don't go over 1cm because in reality, the lower part is still covered quite long under the upper one. Also the outfit I'm trying to get on my daughter this time wasn't really a bikini, it is the Wild Strawberry outfit that comes with DDS Miki Hoshii.

I wish it was possible to do similar bikini line parting for DD2/DD3 as DDdy but the DD2 lower body just doesn't go high enough to make the bust part shorter :(

Hello, thank you for the very helpful tut. I think I might possibly do something same for my DDII body so that the line between upper and lower torso can be less visible when my girls wearing bikini. The only thing is that I'm just not sure whether the lower torso of the DDII body is same length with the DDY so that it can still hold up the trimmed upper torso.
